I travelled a lot between the ages of 16-24. I lived in Sweden, in Italy, and travelled all over Europe. After that, I became more tied to the land -- farming, eating well, and learning how to process and preserve food. I used the off-season to travel more domestically, to ski, to read and rest. That is essentially my flow to this day. Most recently I have added building into that flow. I took a strawbale-building intensive five-month course in Utah in 2019, and it has been a fantastic skill set I've been able to add into my life. Otherwise, I love to read, knit, dance, walk in the woods, downhill ski, XC ski, swim, listen to music, discuss and think about life.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I took a long hiatus from Couchsurfing, but I am back, officially in a home of my own with my partner, Matt -- you can see his profile here; https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/matthew-nedwicki We're homesteading on a beautiful piece of property in Northern Michigan. We are on Couchsurfing because we would like to share our beautiful space, for free. We do not wish to make a profit from good company, or anyone just wanting to travel cheaply. Everyone should be able to travel, and not have to pay steep fees via Air BnB. With that said, we are on Couchsurfing to get to know our visitors because we love meeting new people.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I got on a high line (a slackline suspended -- in this situation -- 300 feet) in Utah without throwing up. I helped build three straw-bale homes.
Teach, Learn, Share
