Surfer and Master in Human Resource Management. Lover of daily physical exercise, animals, books, cinema, beer, volunteer actions and to know new cultures. Recently (jan/mar2019), I have been in Egypt as a Global Volunteer (GV) with the AIESEC, working in animal rescue as well as Head of Communication in order to improve the awareness of Egyptian society in terms of animal protection through some campaigns developed by me and later spread in Cairo and Giza. The main points in which I worked, besides rescue animals from the streets and manage the whole association (ESMA), I also toiled in the improvement of the adoption processes, struggle abandonment and encouraging adoption in Egypt. At present, I'm working as an IT Recruiter for a Portuguese startup. If you want, take a look! Instagram ID below: https://www.instagram.com/andre_martins4/

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Well, I think people are here for two main reasons: to know new people and new cultures, and the second one to save money to travel as much as we can. Life is much more enriching meeting people with different points of view than ours. Each experience I had I'm more convinced of this. NEXT STOPS: ^^ Spain (Barcelona) ^^ Belgium (Brussels) ^^ Poland (Cracow, Warsaw) ^^ Turkey (Istambul) Planning a massive backpacking trip in Asia in the next year(...) ^^ Iran ^^ Pakistan ^^ India ^^ Nepal ^^ Philippines ^^ Indonesia

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach topics about how to keep a healthy lifestyle and tips for doing gymnasium. Keep a balance amid a healthy mind as well as a healthy physical body such as our muscles is essential to provide to ourselves higher living standards. By doing this, we are taking care of us, and aspects such as a good diet and regular physical exercise are crucial. On the other hand, I can also convey bits of knowledge about my academic backgrounds - Sociology and HR Management. I can provide English classes, once I have a pretty decent level of this language (at least C1, according to worldwide classification patterns). I can share traditions about my own country, Portugal, and at the same time, I definitely love to know traits from other cultures. What they do, which they believe...which they eat. At last, subjects like sports, films, and books in general, life outlooks, ideas and thoughts about everything are always welcome to the conversations. Always learning. In a permanent acquisition of knowledge. This is my mindset.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I'm a very easy-going guy, as well as a person with an easy connection, that's why for me a fellowship it's easily done with honest and true people. Be honest and humble with me and I'll always offer the best of me. A life's motto.
