CURRENT MISSION Win a lotto and move to Italy! Then open a beach bar and make cocktails all day. And since I won a lotto, I don't mind if I make money or not from the cocktails :) ABOUT ME I am a travel junkie! I am seriously addicted to travelling and exploring on my own or with a small group of good friends. I have no qualms exploring on my own for I love talking and sharing experiences with people from other cultures. It feels like a privilege when locals welcome you with open arms and share their experiences/culture. Oh yeah, speaking of that, I love food. I am also a food junkie (food is part of culture!) I love to eat! And eat I shall and try all sorts of food I shall when I travel. (Travel)+(good food)+(good company)=heaven on earth :) PHILOSOPHY Live to eat, eat to live. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Get the locals' experience and help out other travellers whenever I can. NOTE : I realize that each time I submit a post to MEET UP with locals, I would get so many "offer to host" me even when the destinations are completely different. Its great but at the same time I can't keep up with responding to everyone esp with those that just blindly sent me requests without even reading my profile. I respond only to those whom I feel comfortable with and are relevant to my travel. Hence kindly DO NOT send me requests to host me and then leave a negative review when I cannot even respond to all my mails. Also CS is not a dating site. Please do not get the wrong idea when we chat each other up on the site. I am interested in travelling and cultural exchange and honest friendship. Thank you for understanding!
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Way too many amazing moments to list one down. Impossible. Every country that I visited bears so many precious moments - eg. samba-ing in Rio, clubbing in Buenos Aires, sharing a fishingman's joke with locals in Mykonos, swimming next to a 2000 year old castle in Naples, driving through Sorrento Italy in the middle of the night...etc etc. I always believe its the people that the memories special. A place can be beautiful but make no significant impression. But kindness and warmth of friends and strangers that you meet in your travel - those are moments that are truly special.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to salsa, samba and draw circles with your left hand and draw lines with your right hand simultaneously lol. I can show you photography techniques, photoshop skill if you like as I am a travel photographer. If you like, I can even cook some nice Malaysian food!

I am not really looking for hosts but rather hanging out with locals to share experiences - good and bad, hopefully most good!
My Interests
Meeting and hanging out with locals of countries I am visiting. Eating. Eating Eating. Partying if I have the energy. I enjoy simple things in life. I don't need to visit fancy places when I travel, I am looking more for experiences with local families/cultures. Sometimes eating and drinking, playing games with some random family in their simples homes of some random countries is better than going for a fine dining experience at the Four Season. My dream is to experience a traditional wedding in every country that I visit (not my wedding, others!). Friends and families are important to me.
