As of April 2015 my boyfriend, Alex, and I have quit our jobs to travel the world. We are using our blog, In Pursuit of Adventure, to show people that kindness and decency still exists in this world and that the majority of people are good. We want to share the different cultures of the world through our blog and demonstrate that while we are all different we all want essentially the same things in life. Ashley: Originally from California, I am passionate about traveling the world and getting to know the different cultures of the world. I am obsessed with history, art and archaeology. I even majored in Classical Archaeology at university. I travel from art, history, food and culture! Alex: I'm from Pismo Beach, California. I grew up surfing and hanging out on the beach. I grew a love for travel as I a got older and moved to Rome, Italy when I was 18 for UNI! Main interest are surfing, travel, writing, literature, eating, local spirits, and being in places that I've never been. I want to get to know the locals and show people that this world is a great place with good people. Couch surfing is one way to break down the borders between us.
