CURRENT MISSION To travel and see as much as I can while I still have the chance! ABOUT ME My name is Austin and I am 26 years old. I am currently living in Tianjin, China. I recently moved here about a year ago from America, Chicago. I miss home at times, but China has so much to offer it is amazing. I work here as a teacher which I love. Plus having the chance to travel on weekends is always nice. I speak very little Chinese, but recently I started to take classes.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I recently traveled to both Turkey and Germany and was able to stay with one family and also meet others along the way.
Music, Movies, and Books
I Love the old school children movies (3 Ninjas, TMNT, Hook, etc....) Medieval movies (King Arthur, Robin Hood, Kingdom of Heaven etc....) Comedies/Actions/Suspense are always entertaining as well. Not a huge fan of Scary Movies, but for the right person I just might. I love all sorts of music including Alternative/Rock, Rap/HipHop, and some POP/Country when it is not over played on the radio. I own a tablet, so I look for recommendations to read or randomly pick new books. My profession involves me to continuously learn, so reading is a good source for that.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I have completed a Triathlon, Backpacked through Italy, and lastly took a walk down to the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
My Interests
I love to be outdoors, so if their are mountains or beaches I am in. Also, I try to stay active when those are not around, soccer, running, drinking outside. I enjoy traveling, so the chance to travel to different cities and also meet new people is a good combo.
