Hi there, I’m Eddie, an outgoing 24 years young surfer. I grew up in the countryside of western Mongolia with my family, taking care of our livestock. We used to have more than 400 sheep, 100 goats, 5 camels, about 40 cattle and a bit over 20 horses. Currently, I am doing my Masters in Mech Eng at the University of Adelaide, South Australia. During my stay in Australia, I fell in love with sailing and have been a member of a sailing club, called Twisted, for more than a year. We have participated many different races, ranging from a 3 hour short race to a day long races. Cruising with the wind over the ocean lifts my spirit and gives me a sense of freedom. Recently travelling around Southeast Asia as a reward for my study 📖. Hard work pays off jiji!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I want to discover the world and learn how other people live in different places.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like any kind of musics if it sounds cool. However, Mongolian throat singing is something special. #ForrestGump is the best movie in my personal preference. #The Alchemist written by a famous writer, Paulo Coelho, is the life changing book for me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share our nomadic lifestyle and its cultures. There are many interesting stories I can share either from my childhood or from my journey to come to an Australian university. I love to learn about different lifestyles and perspectives as it always reminds us of how wonderful and vast the world is.
