Hi This is Barry. I am from Turkey. I have B.S. engineering degree and have worked several year as an engineer. However I have so much passion about food and traveling that this passion changes my career path. I have been working last 7 years in professional kitchens as a chef. One of my dream came thru and I have worked with Michelin Star Chefs. I love traveling because you can explore new cultures, meet different peoples around the world, open your mind, and it gives you enjoyment that nothing can give. I have started diving during my 4 month SE Asia tour which makes me explored I have another passion to seek under the water.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Once I have hosted 3 gals from the states. It was fun that I show them around Istanbul. I really enjoyed that even touring around my own city was nice. Thats the best way to explore the city :))) find friends and socializing :)

One Amazing Thing I've Done
I have traveled for 4 months around Southeast Asia. That was amazing ;))) I have traveled 2 months at balkans which I really love it. And belgrade is kick-ass!!!
