Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Because I think the world is friendlier than we hear. A friend of mine who inspired me to travel told me that there is a massive amount of misinformation about safety when it comes to travel and after going a few places I agree completely. I hope that joining this site can be a cool way to prove that point while making lasting connections within the international community.

I love folk, bluegrass, Jazz and classical.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Motor biking in Bagan Myanmar is a favorite. However climbing Mount Hood in Oregon was great too. I hiked a small mountain in Taiwan during a typhoon and saw one of the deadliest snakes in the world. Rode in a 1951 Ford around Havana. There's more, but sometimes the every day stuff can be amazing too ya know?
Teach, Learn, Share
I love teaching music/English and working with kids. I studied abroad with my wife in Macau and had the opportunity to teach English for three months. I highly recommend it! As for sharing, I think cultural exchange, food a laugh and so much more is a joy to share :)
