Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Often, I need to get out of the place I'm at and go to where I can feel small and humbled by my environment. I need to remember I am not the sum of all my parts. I want to be able to go anywhere I can, what's the point if you aren't meeting great and interesting people?
Music, Movies, and Books
FAVORITES OF THE MOMENT Books: Trout Fishing in America by Richard Brautigan, Ghost World by Daniel Clowes, Blood and Guts in High School by Kathy Acker, The Dream of a Common Language by Adrienne Rich Music: Crass - Abwärts - Essential Logic - Nala Sinephro - Don Cherry - Hiroshi Yoshimura - etc etc etc Movies/TV: The Shop Around the Corner (1940), Adventure Time, A Patch of Blue (1965), My Fair Lady (1964)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Once I was performing in Hamburg and these old punks, full of hubris, yelled "play the music!" I yelled back "I say when we play!" and they shut up and waited which is pretty incredible honestly.
Teach, Learn, Share
I honestly believe everyone has something to share if you're willing to listen, there's so much to learn and to contribute. I just want to be a part of the world I'm living in while I'm here. I'm down to hang out.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I have some pretty great dance moves. I can also draw you a picture or something, write you a weird limerick. But also I'm tidy and sweet when I'm not laughing too loudly.
