Hi all, :) I'm Carmel. I'm a well travelled 26-year old trainee teacher. I am open, friendly and social. I am very respectful of people, their space and property. Having lived in shared accommodation for 8 year and been a live-in landlady of a family house during my recent PhD years, I can appreciate the concerns of couch-surfers from both perspectives.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Occasionally I look for a couch to surf somewhere just to sleep during my travels. Though any local advice and sightseeing/tour suggestions are most welcome! :) I'm happy to socialise with couch-surfers and their friends if they want to, but I don't need babysitting and am also happy travelling solo. I will always leave feedback for people I host or who host me to spread the word of this great way of travelling and getting to know cultures.
