I'm a young at heart, friendly human from Italy :) I work as a researcher in a group called Lifelong Kindergarten at MIT, in Boston. I teach creative coding to children and organize free online courses for educators. I play many musical instruments (all badly :)) I love traveling and listening to people's stories. I care deeply about human rights and try to promote peace in any way I can.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
This summer I'm traveling across the U.S. and hoping to meet like-minded people along the way. I'll be in Nashville from August 4 to 8, and I'd love to explore Music City with locals! Back in Boston, I live with three lovely roommates and three comfy couches. We often host friends and fellow travelers for short stays.
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I’m drawn to films that make me think or dream—mind-bending ones like Waking Life or Inception, and epic stories like The Lord of the Rings. Lately, I’ve been watching powerful Palestinian documentaries and indie films. Music: I’m a musical omnivore. I grew up on hard rock, prog, and metal, but learned to enjoy jazz and electronic over time. I love Italian cantautori—from Mina to Lucio Corsi and Colapesce Dimartino—and I’ve been listening to Fairuz and Arabic classics lately, especially since I play drums in a band inspired by Arabic music. I usually switch between chill electronic while working, grounding tunes when I need to breathe, and silly Italian summer hits when I want to dance. Books: My bookshelf is a mix of education, political philosophy, Buddhism and Eastern thought, and Italian literature. Right now I’m reading Gandhi and Nonviolence, How to Read Poetry, and I sentieri dei nidi di ragno. I love Italian authors—from classics like Calvino to the contemporary collective Wu Ming. I also have a soft spot for books I read as a kid that left a mark on me, like The Alchemist and Jonathan Livingston Seagull.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
The first time I jumped out of a plane (with a parachute!) was unforgettable. And every jump after that felt just as incredible. It’s been a few years since my last dive, but the feeling of flying stayed with me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you how to make a simple video game in 5 minutes, it’s easier than it sounds! I also play several instruments (badly!) and would be happy to jam or show you a few rhythms. I’d love to learn anything you’re passionate about—whether it’s a local recipe, a traditional dance, a piece of your language, or just your perspective on life. My curiosity has no limits, especially when it comes to culture, music, and how people learn and grow.
My Interests
I love to skydive, play drums, travel around the world, learn interesting things and talk about life, the universe and everything.
