I am open-minded, curious about the world, love to learn new things and enjoy deep conversations. A swimmer, surfer, pianist, and writer. For me, travel means 1. A chance to be introspective. “Journeys are the midwives of thought. Few places are more conducive to internal conversations than moving planes, ships or trains.” 2. A way to connect with people outside of my daily life. I'm interested in learning about the lives and stories of people I meet on the journey, what they love and hate. “Are we moved by the same passions, do we have the same dreams? Are there universal principles of human nature? Differences that do not translate?” 3. A potential discovery of what I want in life. “What we find exotic abroad may be what we hunger for in vain at home.” 4. And more... - NOT going to accept or reply to copy/paste requests. And please include my name when you send me a request, or I won't reply.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing gives me a whole new understanding of travel. There are plenty of fascinating sites and wonders but when I travel, the people I meet and the things we get to experience together would actually mean more to me.
