I'm an open minded person who enjoys meeting new people, getting to know their cultures and getting different perspectives on life. Working with a small plant breeding organisation I am working on new legume and cereal varieties for organic agriculture. Always loved being in nature, however, being confronted with the topic through my job and my collegues, made me think even more about how we can live healthy natural lifes. You will see I am rather spontanuous and never actually plan where to go next, cause I like getting suprised by the things I discover! There is always an easy way and the interesting one. Would be easy to say I prefer the last, how tough can it be? Well, I do prefer the interesting way but never gonna say there is no effort to it.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
On a four month trip through Southeast Asia I just fell in love with travelling, the people you meet and the spirit it is giving you. Didn´t try couchsurfing there, but I was invited by people to eat and even stay with them. It was a great experience and gave me the chance to get to know the countries in a way I would not have by only staying in hostels. In return I´d like to give others the same opportunity and of course find hosts while I am traveling.
Music, Movies, and Books
Absolut favorite movie: Life of Brian Books: The almond tree, die Physiker, 1984, Der Mensch ist gut, Nathan der Weise
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Eating a tarantula
What I Can Share With Hosts
Good times hanging out, cooking (I am not an outstanding chef but like cooking anyways) and having good conversations, about life, politics, nature, travelling experiences, food
My Interests
Through my studies and job I got really interested in how to make our way of living more sustainable. It fits to all parts of life, what clothes we wear, what food we eat, what else we consume or do not consume. On a way back to basic!
