Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I aim to have beautiful experiences with everyone I meet, trying my best to pay it forward. Please note, I do not host unverified surfers without references, and I only host women. I do not give out keys, so surfers may only be at my place while I am home. Sorry for the inconvenience. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've surfed a few times in Toronto, New York, Bulgaria and South Africa. I've also met up with surfers in Colombia, Washington DC and Italy.
Music, Movies, and Books
Book: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I read constantly; I think about words in my sleep. I’d label my preferred music genre as “alternative fun.” Really, just something I can sing along to is what I gravitate toward. I’m also a sucker for a good country song.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Taken a horseback safari on the Nile River. Taken a bus trip around New York and Canada by myself. Hiked Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail. Traveled solo around Turkey. Taken shots with Chinese Party officials. Volunteered at a cheetah-breeding Center in South Africa. Sandboarding in the Sahara Desert.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I offer the perspective of a young American girl who has seen quite a bit in her short lifetime. I am friendly, curious, and willing to go on adventures! Still, I enjoy thoughtful, stimulating conversation over a quiet cup of coffee. Slow or fast, I'm just excited to learn. I love to muse about or at things or people. Truly, there’s always more to ponder.
My Interests
I love going to festivals or various events around town. I spend my other time reading or writing, and I get very excited about acting, attending shows, or making any kind of art.
