CURRENT MISSION Pay off the student loans ABOUT ME I love hiking, camping, backpacking, eating, and cooking. In our family, I grow the flowers, and my wife grows the vegetables. Our sons Coen, Silas, Charles and Edison make our life wrestle mania. Every night before bed we remind them not to swing from the ceiling fans. I work as an anesthesiologist and in the ICU. Bekah has a degree in high school physics teaching, but at the moment she cares for the boys, and teaches them German.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I'm still discovering that part. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I am brand new, and have no experience. We hope to change that.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I caught our second son when he was born in the front seat of our '98 Camry while on the way to the hospital, and then drove the rest of the way to the hospital.
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to teach swing dancing classes while at Michigan State University. I still pull out some old tricks to teach friends to dance for their weddings. Would love to learn about homesteading, building with logs, straw bales, earth bags, cordwood, etc.
My Interests
Plan to move to Alaska one day, and get a big hairy dog that looks like a wolf.
