Hey, my name is Corey Johnston. I first heard about this idea a little while ago, the couchsurfing, and I thought, why would anyone offer up their living space for free? That was about a year ago, and since then, I've been on a journey of personal improvement. I used to be very shy and I didn't really enjoy talking to people, I would have called myself an 'introvert' but honestly I wasn't enjoying my life when I was like this. One day, I stumbled on to a youtube channel called Elliot Hulse, a strength coach and life coach, and I learned a lot about myself just from these videos alone. Since then, I have read so many books, from spiritual teaching books such as Eckhart Tolle's The Power Of Now and A New Earth, to The way of the superior man, to books on money and finances because I really had no clue about money until I started reading about it. I now regularly meditate, and I enjoy going to the Kadampa Buddhist Centre in Birmingham to learn more about this. I love talking to people now, and bringing a smile to people's faces wherever possible because I realised that life is what you make of it, and I want to make it better for me and everyone else.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I'm habituating in london and it's pretty damn awesome, I would love to explore as much of it as possible with as many people as possible. I love travelling and I think the idea of hanging out in an unknown person's house while I travel is an amazing idea, since it would allow me to break out of my dreaded 'comfort zone' and do something unique.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music, I love most of it really. I can appreciate a lot of different sounds, and I think it's really beautiful that music can affect how you feel so much. Movies, well, anything by Tarantino is gold for me. I like talky films provided the dialogue is good, but films with a twist at the end are the best. Books, anything spiritual, or on the path to becoming the strongest version of myself.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I biked 26 miles for Loros last year but, I don't really like the idea of spewing all the good things that I've done like it is some sort of bragging right. Just do something nice everyday.
Teach, Learn, Share
I genuinely have no idea what I'm supposed to write here.
What I Can Share With Hosts
A laugh, stories about myself, I enjoy discussing a fairly broad range of topics so I can talk for a while haha.
