I’m a speech therapist by training and worked for many years with people with neurological conditions. At the moment, I’m working in the hospitality industry in Australia. I enjoy good conversations, sharing meals, going out for a beer, eating out, and trying new foods. I also like walking around, cycling, and discovering local spots that don’t always appear in tourist guides. At the same time, I really value personal time and respecting each other’s space — balance is important to me. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I started using Couchsurfing in 2014 during a trip to Brazil, which turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life. Through Couchsurfing, I’ve had the chance to meet people from all over the world, both as a guest and as a host. I’ve been very lucky along the way and have collected many great memories from the experiences shared through this community. Couchsurfing has played an important role in how I travel and connect with people, and I truly value the meaningful exchanges it makes possible.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I’ve traveled to different countries, but one of the experiences that amazed me the most was visiting Machu Picchu twice, six years apart, each time taking a different 4- or 5-day route. I’ve also loved snorkeling on coral reefs and discovering cultures that are completely different from my own.
My Interests
I’m interested in traveling, learning languages, learning from people, and having conversations about many different topics. I enjoy walking through cities and getting a little lost — I believe that’s when you really get to know a place.
