Hi everyone, I'm Cristina, 23 years old from Italy. I graduated in translation and interpreting, so I can speak both English and Spanish, besides Italian, my mother tongue. I spent the last year living in the UK as an Aupair, it has been a great opportunity for me to discover the country and learn about the people living there and their culture. I'm fascinated by the world, and I go travelling anytime I can. I love meeting people while travelling, I'm a friendly and outgoing person, I enjoy the company of everyone. I try to be curious, mostly about things I don't know; I could stay hours listening to stories of other travellers and I'll be happy to share mines. But also I enjoy some relaxed and quiet time, ideally reading a good book.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I think that travelling is not only about visiting new cities, enjoying amazing landscapes and trying different food, but it's also about meeting locals and learning about their cultures. I believe you can fully understand (and appreciate) a country only through the people who live in it. Also, I think that Couchsurfing is a great system for sustainable travelling and it gives a chance to everyone to visit and discover the world.
