One of my favorite things about travel is trying new foods. I try to eat as many local and traditional foods in every new place that I visit. I am retired Navy. Originally from Colorado, Hawaii will always be my second home.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I am on couch surfing to meet like minded travelers who might be willing to host me or show me around their hometown. I very much like the idea of networking and making lasting friends around the world. I fully intend to host other people with wanderlust once I finally settle down somewhere again.
Music, Movies, and Books
Reggae, hip hop, classic rock, Like most movies but I try not to spend to much time in front of a screen. I like non fiction books that enrich my knowledge.

What I Can Share With Hosts
I am a very gracious easy to get along with guy. I am very respectful and clean when I am a guest in other peoples homes. I can offer a host great conversation and company and I'm decent at cooking eggs and bacon. I'd ideally like to find hosts that are looking for someone to show around as I am traveling solo however I am very thankful to anyone that is busy and just willing to put me up for a night.
My Interests
My interests include hiking, scuba diving, snowboarding, travel, meditation, nutrition, self improvement. Almost anything outdoors I am pretty sure that I will love. I also enjoy learning about history and cultures of the world. I also really like trying wired or exotic food
