Hi! I’m Daniela — I live with my boyfriend Ricardo (also on couchsurfing https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/ricardo-jorge-3?action=show&controller=user_profiles ) and our two cats in Marinha Grande, a calm town near the Portuguese coastline (Leiria region). What truly fulfills me is traveling — not just seeing new places, but walking through unfamiliar streets, connecting with people, and having deep, genuine conversations that stay with me. I believe every person we meet has something to teach us, and I travel with an open heart and mind, ready to learn and grow through each experience. I’m a peaceful, easygoing and positive person. I love laughing, sharing stories, and creating moments that matter — whether it's over a home-cooked meal or a walk in nature.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
“I haven’t met the whole world yet — but it’s on my list.” 🌍 Couchsurfing is one of my favorite ways to experience the soul of a place — through its people. I (we) use it to connect with locals, learn how others live, explore the world from new perspectives, and make memories that no travel guide can offer. We’re here for meaningful connections, shared moments, learning, laughter — and, if possible, a comfy place to rest after a day of exploring. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Together with my boyfriend, we’ve had great experiences as both surfers and hosts. Locals always bring depth to a trip — they know the hidden gems, the true spirit of a place, and the stories behind it. For me, Couchsurfing is truly about sharing — not just a space, but values, time, and mutual respect. That said, my time and my home are very meaningful to me. When we host, we do it with care and intention — our home is not a hotel. We appreciate guests who are thoughtful, respectful, and genuinely interested in connecting, not just looking for a free place to stay.
Music, Movies, and Books
🎬 Favorite movie: Pride and Prejudice 🎵 Music is tied to my memories — I enjoy many genres depending on my mood. Sometimes a song brings back an entire trip, feeling or moment.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I think the most amazing thing is yet to come... But so far: Skydiving Paragliding Scuba diving Ziplining Climbing Portugal’s highest mountain Traveling solo — and loving it
Teach, Learn, Share
A warm presence, a listening ear, good conversation, mutual respect — and a genuine interest in learning from others. I’m independent and adaptable, but always happy to connect when the opportunity feels right.
What I Can Share With Hosts
My time and my home, but if possible I like to share my homemade food, my desserts and good conversations
