Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I'm inspired to travel and meet people from other cultures by this quote from American author Mark Twain: "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime."

One Amazing Thing I've Done
3 month long solo backpacking trip through Europe. Traveled from the USA to Serbia and back. Moved to Germany to experience the challenge, adventure, and benefits of adapting to a new language and culture. It hasn't always been easy, but it has been worth the effort.
