Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Traveling in more non-traditional ways (off the beaten path, hostels, etc) forces social interactions that you would not have otherwise. These interactions lead to, and create, much more rich experiences. I now have friends all over the world from the people I've met in hostels and would like to extend this to couchsurfing as well.
