I'm the kind of person that sits by themselves at a bar (or a baseball game) and makes new friends, I love meeting people and believe 'everything happens for a reason'. I'm a freelance television producer, I get spontaneous breaks in work and make the most of them with travel, usually solo. My work has taught me to be a flexible problem solver able to talk to anyone, and get genuinely excited about about anything interesting. Makes life neat! I'm drawn to destinations with natural beauty (that I can hike, ideally), warm weather, and warm people. OR I come to your city to watch the Toronto Blue Jays play... I'm pretty into real birds too.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I want to feel like a local anywhere I go, a tourist experience is not for me. Depending on where I am I might just be looking for a place to park a van I'm sleeping in, if you can accommodate me indoors, bonus! Local tips, general conversation and story swaps are gravy.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Climbed the Haiku Stairs at dawn. 10/10 would recommend and can't wait to go back and do it again!
What I Can Share With Hosts
I'd love to take you out for dinner and/or contribute to your household in a way that's helpful to you!
My Interests
Stand-up comedy, Cooking, Food, Baseball (watching) and Fitness (doing), roller skating, cycling, hiking, antiques and oddities.
