I'm on Couchsurfing because it has gifted me some of the most magical experiences I've enjoyed in my life so far. Meeting people and sharing experiences, stories, language, culture, adventures, and more is one of my favorite things.

I enjoy listening to many genres of music, from classical compositions to different kinds of jazz and swing to showtunes and soundtracks to 50s rock, 60s rock, 70s and 80s, 90s rock, 00s alt rock, 90s and 00s hip hop, trap, techno, hardstyle, and other forms of electronic music, to island music and other world beats, and, occasionally and selectively, the kind of pop that comes on on repeat on a local radio station enough times that I can sing along with the radio with wide-open windows and no worries. I enjoy karaoke very much, too. My favorite movie genres are rom-com, action, documentary, and the kinds that “make you think.” I have many, many, many favorite books for different things, but a novel that has stayed one of my favorites since childhood is Lewis Carol's The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. I also enjoy reading plays and poetry. These days, I have mostly been reading essays, letters, articles, and other forms of non-fiction and/or first-person accounts.
