Right now I live in Fairbanks Alaska and work as a military contractor. I have my bachelors degree in Psychology and also have a masters in sport psychology. I am 29. I have always loved traveling, but have done most of my traveling in the USA. I love sports, but my main sport to watch is hockey. I also like watching soccer as well, but do not know much about the teams.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I am couch surfing because I would like to meet the locals of the countries and cities I will be visiting. I am interested in the different cultures. Also like the famous quote says, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do." I do not want to learn about the touristy things, I want to also do what the locals enjoy doing. I also started hosting and enjoy meeting new people. Although I will say, I usually try to meet people I host before having them come to my place mainly for safety reasons. So far I have had great stories hosting others.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I love all kinds of music from Country to Rock n' Roll. Movies: I have watched so many movies, its hard to say which ones are my favorites. I pretty much watch anything, but horror (i consider them all not entertaining) Books: I have not read to many books, but I do like the hunger games, divergent, mind gym.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I do not know what you can consider amazing, but I have swam with sea lions, and surfed with a pod of dolphins before. I swam with sea turtles in Hawaii one time. Also, I went skydiving and it was amazing!! I also one time went on a deep sea fishing trip and ate the heart of a blue fin tuna raw. I would say that is pretty amazing, but also gross. This is kind of a fishermans thing.

Teach: I can definitely teach you how to snowboard, or wrestling. If you want to learn about things in psychology, I can share my vast knowledge of studies or things I have learned from my studies. Learn: If you speak a different language, I would love to learn some and about your culture. Also I would love to learn some cooking recipes or how to play an instrument. I am also interested in learning. Share: I can share stories about my life. The culture including the things we say that a lot of other people think are weird.

My Interests
I love sports. I surf, snowboard, wakeboard, and do all kinds of things like that. I also enjoy watching sporting events. I coach wrestling so that is a huge interest of mine. I like to drink and go to bars (pubs) or maybe even a club and do some fun nightlife things.
