I'm a 21-year-old Physiotherapy student from Adelaide, Australia, solo backpacking around Europe for 3-months. Having completed the Mediterranean and most of Central and Eastern Europe, my route over the next month will take me through Munich before flying to Barcelona to explore Spain and Portugal. Back home in Australia I work part-time in both a sports bar on Saturday nights, and pizzeria mid-week. In my free time I enjoy kayaking, Australian Football, hiking and other outdoor activities - and definitely a few beers

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Many of the other travellers I've met along my journey have had fantastic experiences couch surfing, and all have told me it's something I have to try at least once. It's no surprise saving money on a hostel is a big plus of surfing, but I think it would also be good to have a local's knowledge when visiting the cities of Western and Central Europe, to see more than just tourist attractions and get a more authentic experience. While it would be fantastic having someone to show me around their home city, I also understand many hosts have their own lives going on, with work and other interests, so am very comfortable being left to my own devices to explore the city solo, as I have done for much of my travels to date.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
I've watched the sun set across the Agean Sea from the cliffs of Santorini, I've trekked across the Italian Cinque Terre, and now I can add sailing across the islands of Croatia and partying inside a 500-year old fortress in Culture club Revelin, Dubrovnik to the list of amazing things I've done
What I Can Share With Hosts
I'd like to think that over my travels I've accumulated a bag of crazy and often embarrassing stories to share. More than this I feel like I'd be able to leave every host I stay with good memories and a new friend, and am excited at the thought of being able to return the generosity I've been shown once I return home to Australia.
