Hey. I'm not good at writing bios, so I'll try to keep it short and simple. I'm 22, I grew up in Northeastern France with pine trees everywhere and lots of snow during winter. I am half French, half Tahitian, and oddly enough I look Chinese. I study ethnology and anthropology, because I love people. They are fascinating, incredible, full of contradictions and creativity. Therefore I love meeting new people, talking to them but mostly listening to their stories. I don't know how to whistle but I hope someone can teach me how to. For the next couple years, I will be travelling around Australia, a place that made me dream when I was a little girl and that I've been enjoying very much since I arrived. I hope to meet many people here with whom I will very happily discover and experience Australian culture.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
It's been a couple years since I started to have itchy feet and felt the urge to travel. I have done a bit of travel since and needed somewhere to sleep, thus I signed up on Couchsurging. This community is an amazing attempt to bring people together, create social bonds and human interaction in its purest and most honest form. I haven't experienced it yet but I've been told it works quite well, and that makes me happy.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: almost everything. Very keen on French electro music; psyche/progressive rock; r'n'b/hip hop; classical music; jazz.... Movies: a few years ago I used to go to the movies everyday. I haven't got so much time recently but I'm still truly fond of cinema. Some directors I like: Quentin Dupieux; Quentin Tarantino; Wes Anderson; David Cronenberg; Nicolas Winding-Refn; Michel Gondry; Jonathan Glazer; Danny Boyle; David Lynch; Edgar Wright... Books: I'm a book worm. Just give me a book, any.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I survived until 2017
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: French, European history, cooking...I don't know much besides that. Learn: any languages, new recipes, new anything. I love learning, I've been a student for 4 years now and I intend to be a student all my life. Learning is the best way to grow as a person and an individual, and do better in this world, for one's self and others. Share: drinks, food, stories!
What I Can Share With Hosts
Anything appropriate my mind can think of and that I'm able to do.
My Interests
Cats: but not only; anything fluffy/furry will be my dearest friend. Tattoos: I've started my own collection a few years. I'm very keen on them and I love to hear about other people's tattoos. I'm especially interested in traditional tattooing (Polynesian, Asian and others) as I made it my main subject in anthropology. Music: I've played the piano for a long time so I always enjoy having a keyboard around, or any instrument, I'd very happy to listen to you playing.
