CURRENT MISSION relearning the language of flowers ABOUT ME I have natural hair and love languages. I only have brothers, no sister. I play guitar and love to chat, host, cook, and live life. PHILOSOPHY love is first. this includes patience and caring, forgiveness and action. I feel passionate about empowering women and connecting people to each other in a deep, real, meaningful way, either by helping people communicate, understand differences or however else I can. I feel like the building blocks of interaction are communicating caring warmth, understanding feelings, and communicating value in the person intrinsically.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I have a couch available and I love to travel COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE having people in my home has been a fulfilling experience. I have lived in intentional community since 2010 and I have a very open view of belongings. I believe that my home should be used for others as well as myself.
Music, Movies, and Books
I have very diverse tastes, but in any category, i prefer comedy. In music I like anything from classical to reggae, punk, techno, goth, rock (classical, alternative, Indy, etc.), house music, folk, World music, country, and rap, but my very favorite is Ska, which i refuse to say is dead, because i keep it alive! in movies, I like amelie, fight club, pricess bride, tommy boy, and so many more. I do not own very many movies, but I do have napolean dynamite and fiddler on the roof, among others. I love reading! some of my favorites are: Good Omens, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, On Longing, Catch 22, Cat's Cradle, Slaughterhouse 5, classics such as: Chaucer and Shakespeare, books about spiritual topics like: The Call, To Be a Jew, The Tanakh, New Testament, and Quran
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I have seen the shadows of raindrops and marveled. I have slept on Bible Point in the open air and climbed to the top of Emerald Mountain. I came within a foot of a hummingbird on the side of Eagle Cliff above Moraine Valley. I saw a dried-out lizard on the street in St Bernard Parish, Louisianna in the spring after Katrina. I have seen people reconcile differences and I give the best hugs and back rubs. I have seen my little brothers grow from baby-size to teenager-size.
