Hi, I'm Evan. I was born in Silvis, IL and lived in San Diego, CA as a kid. Later, I moved back to East Moline, IL (near Silvis). I try to stay humble and treat others with respect., even if there is a disagreement. For the most part, I think I'm pretty easy to get along with. Recently I've been playing drums in a rock band, working as a call center representative, selling online, helping my buddy with his lawn care business, volunteering for a community garden (Quad City Food Forest). I'm here to find new places to stay and travel, and hopefully to meet some friendly new people.
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to and appreciate almost all genres of music. My favorites include rock, classic rock, progressive and experimental music. My favorite books and movies are mostly non-fiction, including documentaries and educational works. I like to learn if I spend time with a book or a movie.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach and participate in music. I can play drums, I've sang in choirs, and also played some piano when I was young. I took English and Math courses in college, and could help with some basic tutoring.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I can share my kind and positive attitude towards other people. When someone allows me to stay at their place, I consider it a courtesy and I try to share whatever I can, including helping out with housework and giving in the form of food/money/gifts/etc.
