I am originally from Germany, but moved to the U.S. after High School and got stuck here (which is a good thing). I currently live in Utah with my husband, trying to find the perfect place for us to live. Together we have lived in Budapest, Hawaii and here in Utah. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and making new friends, so I think couchsurfing is a fantastic idea. There is nothing better than to experience a place from the local perspective.
Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly read autobiographies or historical fiction. Music is one of my passions and I enjoy listening to all types of it :)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
My greatest experience was travelling to Cuba with my band. The people were the most friendly people I have ever met, always helpful and willing to assist. I loved walking down the Malecon at night with the city reflecting in the ocean and locals sharing their grapes with you. It was just amazing.

I am always up for an adventure - whether it is rock climbing in the Rocky Mountains or kayaking through the lusciously green forests of Hawaii. My husband and I love the outdoors... we love hiking, biking, rock climbing, camping, or kayaking, but also enjoy cultural experiences and great conversations. We love to travel for a purpose and learn about the places we visit in advance to get the best experience. We are both musicians at heart, so we love to jam, whether it's on the ukulele, the piano, the bass, the guitar or just vocals.
