Travelling alone, especially as a Muslim lady, can often be daunting when visiting a country for the first time. Couchsurfing is therefore great for meeting new people. It offers the opportunity to see a country from a residents perspective, pursue intellectual discussions, hear alternative thoughts and connect with another soul... I get quite busy with work but some days I'm randomly free so more than happy to keep someone company in London and show them around my beautiful city.
