Early twenties, full time reporter with The Review in small-town Ontario. Live with my girlfriend, Jess, and will most likely be travelling with her. We also have a hedgehog named Timbit (whose currently crawling over me as I write this). I've travelled to Europe twice (Italy and Spain), US, and Northern Canada (spent a month in Yellowknife). We're both pretty new to the couchsurfing community, and would love to meet new people.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Mostly to get to know people from all over. I have a deep-seated desire to experience the world as much as I can, and I think the best way to do that is by getting to know all of its different people.
Music, Movies, and Books
Favourites are too hard. Here are a few tops: Music—twentyonepilots, Royal Canoe, Led Zeppelin, Every Time I Die, Thelonious Monk, Hamilton OST Movies—Honestly not a huge fan of movies, but I'm usually down with a lighthearted Pixar/Disneys Books—Medicine Walk (Richard Wagamese), Name of the Wind (Patrick Rothfuss), Drunk Mom (Jowita Bydlowska), The Night Circus (Erin Morgenstern), A Modest Proposal (Jonathan Swift).
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Tasted narwhal while in the North.
My Interests
We have a substantial board game collection—though, you can never have too many. Huge fan of long-form nonfiction storytelling, whatever form that may take; usually, magazine stories and podcasts.
