I'm semi- retired and enjoy living a great lifestyle on this part of the NSW South Coast. My place is situated between the sea and the mountains; the beaches of Ulladulla and Mollymook, Lake Conjola and Burrill Lake as well as inland bushwalks to places such as Pigeon House Mountain. I love the outdoors and what nature has to offer around here in the way of flora and fauna and natural landscapes. I like going on bush walks as well as using the waterways for swimming, kayaking and surfing. The rivers, lakes and beaches here in the Shoalhaven area of the NSW South Coast are exceptional and only a couple of hours south of Sydney and east of Canberra.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I am interested to meet travellers from other countries and generations and share with you the passion I have for this part of the world as well as learn about your experiences and interests. I am very open minded and broad minded and embrace diversity and alternative ideas from the younger generation. This part of the Shoalhaven has some of the best surfing beaches you will find such as Bendelong, Mollymook and Ulladulla and some world class surfers have grown up on the surf breaks in the area. The area is surrounded by National Parks and when bushwalking or even in my backyard you can see a wide variety of Australian flora and fauna.

What I Can Share With Hosts
I pride myself on keeping a clean and tidy home, and all of my guests have appreciated tat so far. I am happy to share my home, my time and my experiences. I prefer sharing the preparation and eating of meals together as a good way to have a relaxed conversation, especially with a nice drink! Playing board or card games after dinner is fun, as well as watch a Netflix movie or documentary, or having conversations over a glass of wine or beer. As I only speak English, it might be a good opportunity for you to practise your English. Pretty much everything.
