I used to be first on couchsurfing, and even so my experience was brief, I met few people around, mostly while I was travelling, and find it quite refreshing and entertaining. Even though I stepped back from the platform, hopefully it won't prevent me from doing another great interesting encounters.

Tough question, well, let's see. Off the top of my head, I'd say : Books : SF / HF : Asimov, Tolkien, Philip K. Dick... Classical literature : Alexandre Dumas, Goethe, Gogol, Maupassant... Contemporary : Maupin, Hornby, Clancy... Music : I try to stay open-minded, nonetheless I've got my limits. I like classical music, old rock / hard rock. And usually in my playlist, we can find a lot of sub-genre of metal. Movies : As a fan of British humour, Monty Python is one of the greatest reference. I have fun when I'm watching some classic action movies, and I truly fall for LOTR. Otherwise for show, I enjoy few old sitcom and I'm quite into Asian show as well, mostly period ones.
