I moved about 4 years ago and currently stay on a farm 50km outside of Grootfontein on the B8 road to Rundu. I drive into town everyday where I work at the State Hospital. I love painting and reading, but I am also adventurous and love meeting new people, although I can be quite shy around strangers so please feel free to keep the convo going :-)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I decided to join Couchsurfing in order to meet new people and get to know more about the rest of the world.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love contemporary Afrikaans music as well as anything old school. E.g. Die Heuwels Fantasties, Jim Reeves, Karen Zoid, Bruce Springsteen, etc. Movies: Life is Beautiful Forest Gump I love animations Books: Anything by Jeffery Deaver, Wilbur Smith, James Patterson, John Grisham, Deon Louw, Jefferey Archer, Nora Robberts.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I went on a rowing trip down the Orange river a while back. It was such an amazing experience and I’d love to do so again.

I grew up in this area and know it quite well so we'd be able to take guests to a variety of places in our surrounds.
