CURRENT MISSION Save the world by introducing people to it. ABOUT ME New Yorker, addicted to traveling the world. I've lived extensively in Spain, U.S., Germany, Greece, Japan and Korea. I've hosted a ton in Spain, but never cut my teeth on being hosted. Feel free help me remedy that :) I love playing tennis and travel with my racquet.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I've been off the couch surfing grid for a bit, while living and working in S. Korea. (btw, no longer live in Spain as the address suggests.) Now I'm back in New York. Mostly, I go to events and meet people. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Living in Puerto de Santa Maria, I allowed a lot of Couch Surfers in and it was a mostly positive experience. I learned a lot.
Music, Movies, and Books
Milan Kundera, Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Jose Seramago, Bill Bryson, & Non fiction. Alternative movies, documentaries, comedies and action. Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert are fantastic. Almost any film with New York in it will kick start my nostalgia. Currently need a live band fix.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I've seen and done my share of fun things, but there's nothing better than traveling with the right people.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a fan of learning new languages and sharpening up others I'm losing practice in. Will be glad to share my local knowledge. If you can teach me some of your respective language, that's great; also, any tennis and web programming and design skills are welcome.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Engaging conversation, a good sense of humor and a few funny couchsurfing stories. I might even cook a meal if I'm inspired.
My Interests
Tennis, windsurfing, writing, traveling.
