Hi, I’m Felipe :) Nice to meet you! I’m an architect from Colombia currently living in Copenhagen, where I’m doing a master’. I’m passionate about learning from different cultures, ways of living, and how people shape their environments. I consider myself a calm, curious, respectful, and grateful person. I enjoy good conversations, sharing ideas, cooking (when possible!), and leaving spaces better than I found them. I love slow travel, long walks, music, taking Polaroid photos, and connecting with people from different backgrounds. I’ve lived with roommates from all over the world, so I really value respect, cleanliness, and mindful co-living. I’m on Couchsurfing not just to find a place to stay, but to exchange stories, learn, and make meaningful connections.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe in meaningful travel—beyond tourist attractions. I love connecting with locals, exchanging stories, and seeing how people live in different parts of the world. It’s a great way to create memories and build a sense of global community.
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a bit of everything—from indie and electronic to Latin and jazz. I enjoy movies that make you think or feel something deeply, like Her, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, or Everything Everywhere All at Once. Books I love include The Possible Palladian Villas by Colin Rowe and The Eyes of the Skin by Juhani Pallasmaa. I’m also into architecture theory and books that explore culture and ecology.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I designed the corporate offices for the Colombian Chamber of Infrastructure, and I’ve also collaborated with Indigenous communities, learning about ancestral building techniques and weaving traditions.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make arepas or Colombian coffee the right way! I love sharing stories about architecture, travel, and cultural heritage. I’m always open to learning something new—languages, cooking, or your favorite local spots. I believe sharing everyday life is the best way to connect.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Good conversation, curiosity, and gratitude. I’m clean, considerate, and happy to help around the house or cook something Colombian. I’m always respectful of people’s time and space, and I enjoy getting to know the person behind the host.
