I am a father of two - a daughter (31 years old) and a son (35 years old). They all grown up and living in Shimane and Nagoya. I have retired from my work on March 2018, but still quite busy with my volunteer work and local community services. I was born and raised in exactly the same place where I live now - surrounded by lots of nature, getting old with my old friends and cousins. Since the new highway has built around my house, it's getting more like a residential area rather than a very relaxing countryside area. I have a wife, we are together about 35 years now. We have a Japanese shibainu dog living outside of my house - he is 11 years old, we go for a walk with him twice a day. My English skill is not that good, but I love having some company from all over the world in my house. Love sharing knowledge and experiences with each other. I chop woods for my wood stove, clean fallen leaves and enjoying to see little burning fire in my garden. I also like drinking with farmers with foods that my wife cooks.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I have hosted many people from other countries - my wife counted the number of people we let them stay and it is over 200 now - I like to know and share the different culture and the mind. My daughter (who is actually writing this profile for me) offered me to use couchsurfing - she gave me this account as my birthday present - so here I am!

One Amazing Thing I've Done
Bought a green tea farm on the mountain which takes 40 minutes away by a car from my house. We have a little second house by the tea farm and we stay there for a couple nights every week.
Teach, Learn, Share
Japanese Agriculture! The vegetables and green tea from my farm is all pure organic.
What I Can Share With Hosts
My wife can teach you cooking and gardening. Although I might be busy with my volunteer and local community services, I might be able to guide you around my tea farm if I have a time. If it doesn't bother you, I would love to see your hometown and your house with Google street view - Sounds strange but seeing guest's house via google map became one of my hobby!
