Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I feel that Couchsurfing is a good way to meet new people and get the inside scoop on where to go in the new places that I'll be visiting....the non-touristy stuff that only the locals know :) It will also be nice to host people and provide the inside scoop on NYC.
Music, Movies, and Books
I have an eclectic taste in music that covers most genres...the only one that I haven't gravitated towards is country music. Books.....anything by Alexandre Dumas....David Sedaris...Bill Bryson....and lots of nonfiction.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Completed a multi-pitch rock climb up a vertical rock face after experiencing a mild panic attack ("what am I doing up here?") in the first hundred feet.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a writer with extensive life experience who enjoys connecting with people. I practice yoga, play basketball and I'm willing to try virtually any sport or activity. I sing in the shower--some songs well and others not so much. I'm good with computers and editing film and music. I'm an open book and a good communicator.
