The most important thing to me while traveling is making connections with people, learning true culture, and making lifelong friendships. I am eager to make friends everywhere I go, and couchsurfing is a wonderful place to do that!

I lived in the middle of the jungle in Guyana for 2 months with the indigenous Makushi tribe studying how wild birds are responding to illegal logging and mining practices.
