Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Meeting locals might be the best way to get away from the typical tourist travelling, where you might miss getting in contact with typical culture and lifestyle and hosting people brings so much new experiences I would never have gained on my own, such as new ideas for cooking or changing the point of view on basic things in life.
