Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Opening a door, meeting a stranger, figuring out what unifys and differ us - and at the end getting new impulses to think about. Thats what CS is making a unique way of travelling and living for me.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
It can be so eye-opend, when people telling me more about the countries, how they live there, the issues they have.... I learned that in Lebanon people do not habe adress, in Iran they do not have international credit cards....things like these make my wonder and appreciate the country I live much more.
Teach, Learn, Share
When you come to our place, we do share a beautiful cozy living room with you, good (basically vegeterian) food, good old music from the LP-player, a nice drink.... If I do have time, sure, I show people around my hometown Dresden - the most beautiful town of the world, by the way ;) At least, we can make good recommendation what to do in baroque Dresden. We do have CS´s pretty frequent. To hold our level of hospitality it is becomming necessary that we ask you to think about, how much the food costs we serve and how high the rent is. We are glad when people are ok with SHARING COSTS.
