To me, one of the most important parts of traveling is learning all you can about the local culture, and there is no better way of doing that than by staying with a local who welcomes you into their home. I hope to be able to make new friends that might introduce me to things the normal tourist would not encounter.

2 months backpacking through the wilderness of southern Utah and northern Arizona was incredible. Witnessing the dramatic changes in weather and seasons as the summer turned to winter was humbling.
