Hey there! I am a 30 year old Bolivian guy who decided to leave home in the chill, breathtaking Andes to look for greener pastures. I wound up in colder yet wonderful Denmark, where I studied biochemical engineering. Then I moved back to La Paz where I met my beloved partner, and we moved together to the Dominican Republic - paradise in the Caribbean! I am very open-minded and passionate about diversity, languages and culture. During my free time I enjoy reading, swimming, biking (that's my inner Copenhagener talking) and of course traveling.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
After two years living in Europe, I have gotten to know so many amazing human beings who have greatly enriched me as a person. I strongly believe one of our main goals in life is learning, and traveling is a great catalyst for this (yeah, I'm a spoiled chemistry nerd).
Music, Movies, and Books
Literature: The gospel according to Jesus Christ - José Saramago One hundred years of solitude - Gabriel García Márquez The picture of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde Blindness - José Saramago Movies: Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain Star Trek (the series) The Andes don't believe in God Music: Coldplay Maná La Oreja de van Gogh Zaz
One Amazing Thing I've Done
- Visiting Johnson Space Center and meeting a bunch of amazing astronauts in Houston, Texas - Entering to a (decommissioned, phew!) nuclear power reactor in Barsebäck, Sweden - Taking a dip in hot spring waters in Iceland during the winter time (40°C inside, -15°C outside) - Swimming across a strait in the highest lake in the world (Lake Titicaca, 3810 meters above the sea level)
Teach, Learn, Share
- Spanish (and willing to practice/learn other languages as well) - Traveling stories - Long walks with deep conversations - Philosophy (I'm actually an avid reader of Plato, Nietszche and Sartre) - World politics - Biochemical engineering (lol) - LGTBQ+ issues - out and proud!
What I Can Share With Hosts
Some tasty Andean Bolivian food. Hopefully there are llamas available for hunting in your city (kidding, :P).
