Mixed raced guy drawn to adventurous experiences in all forms, constantly learning about myself, others and the world. I'm currently researching how people respond to vibration exposure (e.g. in vehicles) - both biologically and psychologically. On top of this, I founded The Science Room, a science outreach project where members of the community ask science questions that me and my teammates turn into science talks, discussions, and online content: https://sciroomsouthampton.wordpress.com/ I enjoy exposing myself to the mental worlds of others. I think everyone in this world contributes to a greater picture of society as a whole, and learning about people and what drives them has always been my main interest. My friends tend to tell me I'm energetic, friendly, philosophical, driven and bold. Website: http://jamalkinsella.flavors.me

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I want to explore the world and meet new people, who challenge my perspectives and allow me to appreciate the complexity of life and new perceptions.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
Jumped in the 'ice river' (Eisbach) in Munich to be swept away by cold high-speed currents on a hot summer day. Sponsored silence for Alzheimer's Society with my best friend where we raised £250 whilst running projects and hosting events/parties.
Teach, Learn, Share
Have been all over England, have many stories and knowledge of many places here. Have also lived in Germany, Lithuania and Romania, and can tell anyone a little about these places. Also I enjoy science and philosophy very highly, so happy to tell anybody about these, and as an experienced science communicator I consider it my duty to communicate this to anyone in the world! Eager to learn about anything sold to me by an interested person!
My Interests
I love science, philosophy, literature (classics and non-fiction), the arts (theatre, visual art, poetry), and exploration of the alternative sides of life. I spend a lot of my time seeking experiences that will give me new things to think about, and also A LOT of time Skyping my friends from around the world.
