Innovator and traveller in the quest for lifelong learning. I am currently residing in my hometown, Davao City in the south of the Philippines. I'm doing a consulting stints and making the most of my free time through travelling, learning new languages, doing photowalks. Before going back in my hometown, I did my Master's in the US for two years. I have been around different states in the US, visiting historic sites, hole in the wall places, and making new friends. Although I love traveling solo, the past year made me realize that the best experience you can get from traveling is the peole, may it be from travel buddies or locals you meet. This makes it more memorable. Travelling in different parts of the world, made me realize that home is where the heart is. I want to make an impact in my country by working in renewable energy or healthcare technology.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I'm couchsurfing because I want to know people. It's the total embodiment of the place I'm visiting. I've been traveling solo for quite some time and staying in hostels or going around the city alone isn't that entirely fulfilling. Having someone to travel around with makes the experience more memorable.

Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a strong believer in skillswap. I always wanted to learn new things and I also want to teach someone interested in learning what I know. I can offer: Photography lessons Tagalog lessons Business plan making Math tutoring Budget traveling And so much more.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I can share my story, especially about my home country, the Philippines, my second home, the United States, and my journey through adulting. I'm good with doing house chores like cleaning and arranging. I always like seeing stuff clean and well organized. I'm also called the handy man because I never give up on fixing something that's broken. With the right tools I can fix anything in the house, electronics, and bikes. In my home country, they said the role of engineers like me is to fix stuff. I'm the stereotype engineer.
My Interests
I have a strange combination of interests. I love the outdoors as much as the indoors. I can be hiking a trail during the day and be at home fixing my stamp collection at night; I can be going out with friends to a bar or staying at home and watching netflix. I'm pretty fluid. My broad range of interests also come from my desire to try new things. I barely say no to any challenge (unless its life-threatening). Whenever there is an opportunity to try it out, I'll definitely do it. That is my mantra and it allowed me to learn and master photography. 6 years ago, I didn't have a camera and didn't know how to use it. It was because someone lended me their camera that I was able to learn and eventually love photography. Thus, my list of interests will always keep growing as I continue living.
