Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I have an implicit trust in humanity and having conversation with people of all walks of life brings me great joy. Of course I love to travel, but travel without meeting local people and learning local culture feels empty.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Rap (not mumble rap) Alt Rock, and pretty much whatever else floats my boat. I love music festivals. Movies: Lord of the Rings, anything Tarantino or Nolan, The MCU Books: The Lord of the Rings, Atlas Shrugged, Historical Nonfiction.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I bought, outfitted and traveled in a 1989 Dodge Ram Van extended for several months. We broke down outside of browns field Texas, and now are ready to try again in a slightly different way.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to learn as much as I can. While I believe I have things to share and teach, they often take a backseat because to me learning from others is the key to success and happiness.

I can share my company, any food and honestly whatever else I may or may not have. While I’m not exactly well off, I believe in the power of generosity in making the world a better place.

I’m interested in people’s passions. I could sit and listen for hours about something as boring as tax code if the person speaking on it is passionate and well read.
