Within the past couple of years I have encountered a lot of change. In 2014 I graduated with my BA in Education and decided I wanted something different so I accepted a job as a teacher and moved to Madrid, Spain. During my year there I traveled the neighboring countries and was introduced to couchsurfing. As much as I loved Spain and the travel life I am now back living in Phoenix, AZ working on my master degree. I still make an effort to meet new people and travel even within the states.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I love to travel and learn about other cultures and backgrounds. Last year was the first time hearing about couchsurfing and seems like the perfect opportunity to meet new people and get to know other cities through the eyes of a local rather than a tourist. Now that I have my own place I would enjoy showing my town around to others who are in their travel mode.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Being that I am not a runner lol I think it's pretty amazing that I was able to run...and finish a half marathon (13.1 miles)
My Interests
I enjoy traveling of course! Other interests: hiking, going for bike rides, baking, and when I am stuck at work I enjoy reading travel blogs.
