I have had amazing experiences couch-surfing. Particularly in Bremen, Germany for one night and while spending two weeks in Washington DC, performing research for my master's thesis. I have also hosted some people and adored that too.

Movies - weepy, critically acclaimed dramas (aka Oscar bait); teen comedies; horror. But more into TV these days: The Challenge, RuPaul's Drag Race, Teen Wolf, Survivor. Music - EDM, Lana Del Rey, Sia. Books - I most enjoy memoirs, especially about people going through and overcoming hard times in their lives. Books like Wild, Smashed, Brain on Fire, Into Thin Air - that kind of thing. My favourite author is Ellen Hopkins, though, who writes about similar subject matter. Novels I have loved recently are Jurassic Park, Modern Romance, Is Everybody Hanging Out Without Me, and Drink: The Intimate Relationship between Women and Alchool.
