Just a quick note: Make sure I'm close to where you are looking to stay. If you only searched New York you will get the whole state rather than the city. I am a 4 hour drive from NYC. - Majored in English and American Literature - I do have a cat named Juno, so if you are allergic this probably isn't the place for you because she's a huge cuddlebug.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I like having my point of view expanded and questioned. I also had such amazing experiences as a surfer on my road trip that there really is no other option but to give back.
Music, Movies, and Books
Almost all music, besides perhaps Opera. But I could probably be convinced. Books there are way too many to name, but I am a fan of creative nonfiction, such as In Cold Blood, Into the Wild, and Random Family.
